OFFICIAL. Ruud van Nistelrooy appointed Leicester manager

Dutch coach Ruud van Nistelrooy didn't stay unemployed for long and has officially been appointed the new head coach of Leicester.
Details: "The Foxes" officially announced the appointment of the Dutch specialist on their social media pages. According to Ben Jacobson, the contract is set until 2027. Ruud van Nistelrooy's first game in charge will be on Tuesday, December 3, at home against West Ham.
After the 12th round Premier League match against Chelsea, Leicester sacked Steve Cooper. Ruud van Nistelrooy had briefly served as interim manager of Manchester United, where he led the team to three wins and one draw. Notably, two of those victories were against Leicester, with scores of 5-2 and 3-0.
Reminder: During the interim period between Erik ten Hag's departure and Ruben Amorim's arrival, Ruud van Nistelrooy effectively managed Manchester United, going unbeaten in his four matches as caretaker coach.
However, despite his success, the Dutchman was not included in Amorim's coaching staff, and former United defender Rio Ferdinand has shared his thoughts on why that may have been.
