Nottingham Forest were unhappy with the referees' decisions in the match against Everton
After the 34th round match of the English Premier League between Everton and Nottingham Forest, the "Forest" team remained extremely dissatisfied with some decisions made by the VAR referees. Despite losing 0-2, a number of decisions by referee Anthony Taylor after VAR interventions raised questions.
Presumably, the issue revolves around a moment in the middle of the first half when Nottingham Forest demanded a penalty, but the referee remained steadfast. Early in the second half, Hudson-Odoi fell in the opponent's penalty area in a duel with a defender of the "Toffees", but once again, the referee refused to award a penalty. Towards the end of the match, after Chris Wood fell, Nottingham again demanded a penalty kick, but again, nothing was given.
In a post-match statement, the Nottingham club indicated that they had requested the replacement of the VAR referee before the match, as he was a "Luton Town fan," but their request was denied.
It is worth noting that an unpleasant incident involving Beto and Gibbs-White occurred during this match.
