Details: According to reports from COPE, Ernesto Valverde has officially turned down an approach to become the new head coach of Valencia. The Spanish club's hierarchy reached out to the seasoned tactician in an attempt to revamp their sporting project, but the manager politely declined the proposal.

Alongside Valencia's approach, the 62-year-old manager also snubbed several other job offers from clubs looking to change their leadership in the early stages of the season.

At this stage, Valverde prefers to enjoy a prolonged break from the intense pressures of top-flight coaching and is in no rush to take over a new bench.

It is worth noting that throughout his illustrious managerial career, Valverde has managed clubs such as Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao, and Olympiacos, securing multiple La Liga titles and domestic cups.
