Orlando Pirates Mauritian opponents coach Jerome Thomas hopes the PSL side can win the Caf Champions League

Jerome Thomas would like to see Orlando Pirates win the Caf Champions League competition.

The La Cure Waves head coach said South Africa's Betway Premiership defending champions are in a better level which allows them to gun for top honours.

“I wish Pirates advance to the next stage and why not win the African Champions League,” said Thomas after Pirates beat his side 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

“I want to thank the organisation for the welcome, they put us in good conditions to play this match today, congrats to Pirates for their qualification, they showed they are a big club and stronger than us.

“The match as you saw, it was very difficult, you saw that difference between the players, they are levels above.”
