Neville believes Amorim will need 2-3 transfer windows to implement his plan

New Manchester United head coach Rúben Amorim is struggling to fully implement his ideas, partly due to limitations within the squad. It will take time for him to assemble the players he needs.
Details: According to former United player Gary Neville, Amorim will require at least two to three transfer windows to rebuild the squad to suit his system.
Quote:
"It’s an unusual system, 3-4-3. You need to find two midfielders who are good enough to play together and cover a lot of space. You need three central defenders, with two capable of playing wide when the wing-backs push forward.
That means you require specialists across the entire team. It’s not like other systems, which are a bit more forgiving. How quickly can Amorim and United’s recruitment team adapt this squad to a 3-4-3 system?
It will take at least two or three transfer windows because investments have already been made, and we know clubs are operating under PSR restrictions. Over the past three years, United have lost £300 million, so they’ll face a real challenge in spending what they need in the transfer market. There has been a lot of waste in recent years,"* Neville stated.
Reminder: Injuries have also affected selection, forcing United to field a bench filled mostly with youth players against Tottenham.
