Indiscreet. Saudi club considering two top coaches

Saudi Al Ittihad have decided to make a coaching reshuffle after finishing fifth in the league, with intentions to sack the team's manager Marcelo Gallardo. And he could be replaced by a rather eminent successor.

The shortlist of specialists has been announced by L'Équipe, and the names on it are quite high-profile. They are: former Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri, ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United manager José Mourinho, and Bruno Genesio, who said goodbye to his position at French side Rennes in November 2023.

Notably, the Portuguese specialist is also wanted by Al Qadsiah, who have recently been promoted and will be part of the Saudi Pro League next season.

Genesio, on the other hand, was recently linked with a position at Nice, whose head coach Francesco Farioli moved to Ajax Amsterdam.
