Napoli interested in Torino defender

Antonio Conte is close to becoming Napoli's head coach and the specialist has already identified several profiles he would like to see at Napoli.

According to Matteo Moretto, the Neapolitans are interested in signing Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno. Napoli are ready to get close to the financial requirements of the Bulls, but it is not possible to talk about committing the deal in time for the European Championships.

The defender, who turns 25 on 6 June, is reportedly valued by Conte but there is also interest from unnamed Italian and English clubs in addition to Napoli.

Buongiorno played 31 games for Torino last season, in which he scored three goals and gave one assist. Transfermarkt values the 24-year-old centre-back at €30 million.
