Mourinho is targeting a forward from the Spanish championship

One of the challenges that José Mourinho faced when he took over as head coach of Fenerbahçe was the need to rebuild the offensive line, and the Portuguese found a suitable candidate for this in the Spanish league.

Sevilla had earlier put forward their striker Youssef En-Nesiri for transfer, and according to Marca, this forward has caught Mourinho's eye. Fenerbahce have reportedly made a transfer offer, but it falls short of the Andalusian club's €20 million valuation.

Mourinho, however, insists on signing En-Nesiri, and the challenge for the Canaries' management will be to persuade Sevilla and the player himself. But Saudi clubs could be in the way here, who could show interest in the 27-year-old forward.

But as of now, it is Fenerbahce who are closer to taking the striker to them.
