Mohamed Ouahbi is set to announce Morocco’s squad for the upcoming international break

The Atlas Lions’ manager will announce the names of the players called up on 17 September at a press conference.

Morocco is gearing up for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Atlas Lions will kick off their qualifying campaign at home. On the first matchday of the qualifiers, Morocco will host Gabon on Friday 25 September 2026 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Four days later, Morocco will take on Lesotho on matchday 2 of the qualifiers. However, as Lesotho lacks an approved stadium, the Atlas Lions will play their match in South Africa. The fixture will take place in Bloemfontein on Tuesday 29 September.

But ahead of these first two rounds of qualifiers, Morocco’s manager, Mohamed Ouahbi, will announce the squad selected to kick off the campaign. The names of the players will be revealed on Thursday 17 September. The Atlas Lions’ manager will unveil his squad at a press conference.
