2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Where and when to watch the Morocco v Gabon match?

This opening match in Group A is already shaping up to be a decisive one at the Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat. However, Morocco begin this campaign as favourites.

Following its historic run at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Morocco has continued its fine form by reaching the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Atlas Lions also stand out for their position in the FIFA rankings, sitting 6th in the world.

Their opponents, Gabon, who will be travelling to Rabat, have a less prominent presence on the international stage. The Panthers were knocked out of the last Africa Cup of Nations at the group stage. They currently occupy 84th place in the FIFA rankings.
