The management of Manchester United has finally decided on who will be the head coach for the next season.

According to The Athletic, the club has chosen to continue working with Erik ten Hag. After evaluating the team's performance towards the end of the season, the new shareholders of Manchester United from INEOS concluded that there is no need to seek a new head coach at this time.

Moreover, Manchester United will soon begin negotiations with ten Hag regarding a new contract. His current agreement with the club expires in the summer of 2025.

Previously, candidates mentioned to replace ten Hag included Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino, Roberto De Zerbi, and Gareth Southgate.

It is worth noting that last season, Manchester United finished only eighth in the English Premier League, but managed to win the FA Cup.
