Man United remain committed to Premier League title goal by 2028 despite last season’s 15th-place finish

Last season for Manchester United can only be described as a disaster. The team finished in 15th place and, for the first time in a long while, will not compete in European tournaments. Yet, this setback hasn’t stopped the club from setting bold ambitions.
Details: Even last season, Manchester United’s management set the target of winning the Premier League by 2028—the club’s 150th anniversary—and CEO Omar Berrada hasn’t backed away from that, despite the collapse in the most recent campaign.
Quote: “But is it realistic? Of course. We’ve just finished 15th, and it seems like an impossible task. But why not aim for it? Why not do everything we can?
I firmly believe we can achieve this. We have two or three summer transfer windows to build a squad capable of competing for the Premier League title. If we can do it sooner, we’ll all be delighted, and nobody is saying we don’t want to win before then,” Berrada told The Athletic.
