Manchester United and Liverpool played to a 2:2 draw at Old Trafford in the 32nd round of the Premier League.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane, in a comment to Sky Sports, said that Liverpool should have won, and this moment could be decisive at the end of the season.

"For Liverpool, they should have won the game. But that point might be crucial come the end of the season. They were behind with five to 10 minutes to go at Old Trafford where it is never easy.

“I'm sure Jurgen Klopp will have mixed emotions. He will be delighted with his side's performance but they gifted United a way into the game. In the end, they clawed their way back for a draw and that could be vital at the end of the season.”

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp holds a similar view: Jürgen Klopp's team could not afford to drop points today, especially considering their dominance in the first half.

"Harvey Elliott came on and made a real difference. Wan-Bissaka is one of the best at slide tackles that I've ever seen but he hooks Elliott and it's never getting overturned. Man Utd will be delighted with a point but Liverpool on the hand, they should have been 3:0 up at half time. They had so many chances. They dominated the match.

It's certainly two points dropped. They will be furious because it is a game they had so much control in. At the end, they tried to muster something and it would have been a massive three points if they could have got it. But you can see in the faces of the players, they are dejected right now. it's a game they should have won."

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, now a Sky Sports pundit, believes Liverpool dropped two points.

“This is it for Liverpool. Liverpool only have themselves to blame. They weren't clinical enough when it really mattered. They should have put Man Utd to bed. It's definitely two points dropped”.

This result at Old Trafford allowed Arsenal to stay in first place. Arsenal and Liverpool have 71 points each, but Arsenal has a better goal difference. Manchester City is third with 70 points.
