Manchester United hosted Liverpool at Old Trafford in the 32nd round of the English Premier League.

In the first half, there was only one team on the field. Liverpool dominated completely, taking 14 shots on goal against Onana, who repeatedly demonstrated phenomenal reactions in goal. While The Red Devils didn't manage a single shot towards the opponent's goal.

However, Liverpool's finishing was not the best, with only one of their many chances resulting in a goal. Dias opened the scoring on the 23rd minute from a pass by Nunez, and the teams went into halftime with a minimal advantage for the visitors.

Early in the second half, Liverpool regretted squandering their chances. Quansah was caught out, and Bruno Fernandes struck from about 50 meters to equalize against Kelleher. Then, 17 minutes later, Mainoo beautifully put Manchester United ahead with a strike.

Liverpool pushed to salvage the match and earned a penalty in the 83rd minute for a foul by Wan-Bissaka in his own team's penalty area. Salah confidently converted the penalty.

No further goals were scored in this match. As a result, Arsenal remains in the top position. Both teams have the same number of points (71), but Arsenal has a better goal difference. Manchester City has 70 points.
