Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed before the match against France whether he will finish his career with the Polish national team after Euro 2024.

"I don't want to regret later that I finished early. But I don't want to agonize in doubt when that moment will come. It hasn't come yet. I have to feel that the time has come. No one should push me into this decision. It's between me and my family.

200 matches for the national team? I don't know if I can do that. Playing for so many years at this level with high expectations and trying to realize not only my dreams, but also the dreams of the Polish people, is a burden. But I feel good in the national team. The atmosphere allows us to enjoy being here," UEFA quoted the striker as saying.

Poland lost their opening two matches at Euro 2024 and lost their chances of qualifying from the group. Lewandowski's team will play France on Tuesday, June 25. Kickoff is at 18:00 CET.
