It took just 11 minutes. Sorloth sets an incredible record in La Liga history

In matchday 35 of the Spanish La Liga, two teams boasting the season's highest number of clean sheets — Atlético and Real Sociedad — squared off in Madrid.
But the defensive reputation of one side was shattered right from the kickoff. Simeone’s men surged to a 3-0 lead, with all three goals scored by Alexander Sorloth.
Remarkably, this hat-trick by the Norwegian became the earliest in La Liga history. Never before had a player netted three times within the opening 11 minutes of a match. The previous record belonged to Valencia’s Mundo, who bagged three goals against Real Madrid by the 15th minute back in 1941.
It’s also worth noting that only 3 minutes and 57 seconds separated Sorloth’s first and third goals. The last time La Liga witnessed such a rapid-fire hat-trick was on October 1, 1995, when Bebeto struck three times against Albacete in just four minutes.
And by the 30th minute, the striker completed a four-goal haul, becoming only the second player in league history to score four times in the opening half-hour. The first was, fittingly, Mundo.
