Former Kaizer Chiefs captain Neil Tovey is confident Amakhosi can pull out a surprise in Cairo against Zamalek to qualify for the Caf knockout stages
Tovey believes an organised defence for Chiefs is what they need to make it through
Neil Tovey believes Kaizer Chiefs have what it takes to top their Caf Confederation Cup ahead of their monumental clash against Egyptian giants in Zamalek.
The former Amakhosi captain said his ex-team can finish on top of the standings in Group C to seal a place in the Caf Confederation Cup competition.
"Chiefs do have a chance of finishing top of Group D, but Zamalek in Egypt are going to be very, very difficult," Neil Tovey tells KickOff.
"Chiefs have got to be careful and not try to go there and defend, but at the same time, they must be careful and very organised at the back.
"It's a hard process, but it's something that you need to manage."
"The Confederation Cup is never easy."
The match is set for Sunday in Cairo for a 6pm kickoff.
