The Cameroon national team manager unveiled the squad list for the upcoming international break on Monday 7 September.

David Pagou has called up 26 players for this camp, which will feature the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and a friendly against Ivory Coast. The list published by the Indomitable Lions’ manager includes five new faces.

They are Lilian Njoh, Bil Nsongo, Harouna Djibirin, Roy Nyengue and Merlin Lako. This is the first time any of these five players have been called up to the national team.

They will make their debuts for the Indomitable Lions at home on 24 September against the Comoros on the matchday 1 of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Njoh, Nsongo, Djibirin, Nyengue and Lako will also travel with the rest of the squad to the Congo to face the Red Devils on 29 September as part of the matchday 2 of qualifiers.

The Indomitable Lions’ third fixture during the upcoming international break will be a friendly match. Cameroon will face Ivory Coast on 3 October in Abidjan.
