Ex-PGMOL chief calls for rule changes after Guardiola incident

After Manchester City's defeat to Al Hilal, head coach Pep Guardiola immediately rushed to seek explanations from referee Jesus Valenzuela Saez. In England, many believe this incident should spark a push for new regulations.
Details: Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett believes FIFA should implement a rule, already in force in the Premier League, on a global scale. In England, referees are only required to clarify contentious decisions to managers at least 30 minutes after the final whistle, which helps reduce pressure on officials.
Quote: "I would like to see a ban on coaches entering the pitch to confront referees. In the Premier League, they can do this thirty minutes after the final whistle to receive explanations. Perhaps FIFA should apply a similar rule," Hackett told Football Insider.
Reminder: Earlier, Guardiola stated that he regrets Manchester City's exit from the Club World Cup.
