Expert raises concerns over funding for new Man United stadium construction

The management of Manchester United, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has announced ambitious plans to build a new stadium for the "Red Devils." It's a massive and very expensive project. Where the money will come from is still unclear.
Details: Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness believes Ratcliffe may need to sell part of the club's shares to raise money for the stadium construction while maintaining a balance between the stadium and the team. Alternatively, they might have to scale back the plans.
Quote: "As for the stadium funding, there aren't many ways around it right now. I've already expressed concerns about how this might be done. We might see a situation with a reduction in the stadium's size.
We might see other ways of selling minority shares of Manchester United to attract funds. I think overall, it's going to be quite tight.
But if you truly believe Ratcliffe is acting in the interests of 'United,' he must ensure that he has the necessary funds for the manager to support him and sort out the squad. That's his priority.
You must ensure that new revenues are not entirely consumed by interest payments and stadium funding, so prioritize the football club, don't forget that, and everything will be fine," Wyness told Football Insider in an interview.
