Everton's new owners have set out an approach for Branthwaite, who is of interest to Man United

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has long been a tidbit for top clubs, and some may have had suspicions that the new Toffees bosses, led by Dan Friedkin, might make concessions. But that is unlikely to happen.
Details: According to Football Insider, Everton's new owners have no intention of saying goodbye to Branthwaite in the winter transfer window. Thus, the club does not want to send the wrong signal to Evertonians or other Premier League clubs by selling the 22-year-old player.
Recall: In the summer transfer window, Manchester United made active attempts to sign Branthwaite, but Everton demanded to pay for the defender 75 million pounds. At Old Trafford considered such a price for unrealistic and demanded from the Toffees to curb their appetite. It is known that Branthwaite is also being watched by former Everton boss and current Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
