De Bruyne said he wants to become the best player in the world

Star midfielder for Manchester City and the Belgian national team, Kevin De Bruyne, who was forced to be substituted in the Champions League final due to an issue with his knee ligaments, has been diligently working to return to the field. Unfortunately, during the start of the current Premier League season, he suffered a recurrence of the injury, leading him to withdraw from the match against Burnley just 23 minutes after kickoff. He is gradually regaining his form and has expressed his desire to rise to the top once he makes his return to the field.
Addressing the journalists, De Bruyne articulated his aspiration to become the best player in the world.
"I want to be the best. It's simply unstoppable. I aspire to be part of the finest team, to emerge as the premier player in the world. My motivation remains intact.
Despite my absence for four months, I endeavored to discover means to evolve as a player, aiming to continue what I had accomplished previously. I am confident that everything will fall into place upon my return to the field. I hope to continue playing quality football, and that is sufficient."
While De Bruyne will travel with the team to Saudi Arabia for the Club World Cup, it is anticipated that he will not regain his form until mid-January. His comeback will serve as a tremendous boost for Manchester City ahead of the Champions League playoffs and the second half of the Premier League, where they aim to defend their championship.
De Bruyne has been a part of Manchester City since the 2015/16 season. During this time, he has played 361 matches for the Citizens, netting an impressive 94 goals.
