Chelsea star, Reece James, is out of action for several months after suffering an injury, which happened in the 26th minute of the match against Everton on Sunday. The defender of the English club suffered a hamstring injury.

The player's club has already confirmed it.

"Captain Reece James underwent a medical examination after Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Everton. The defender was withdrawn from the game in the first half at Goodison Park, the results of the examination revealed a hamstring injury. Reece is now undergoing rehabilitation at Cobham."

This is the seventh knee injury in the last three years for James. Recovery is expected to take around three months.

The defender did not return to the pitch until early October when he healed another injury. At that time, he missed a month and a half also due to a hamstring injury.

Reece James is a Chelsea trainee. This season, he has played in only nine matches for his team in all competitions: eight in the EPL and one Football League Cup.

Earlier, we reported that Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he expects new transfers in January.
