On Friday, June 14th, the UEFA Euro 2024 kicks off. The continental tournament will take place on the fields of Germany until July 14th.

Twenty-four national teams will compete for the title of the strongest team in Europe, divided into six groups.

The group stage matches will be held from June 14th to June 26th. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16, along with four of the best third-placed teams, based on the group stage results.

The Round of 16 matches will take place from June 29th to July 2nd, quarter-finals on July 5th and 6th, and the semi-final matches on July 9th and 10th. The final match will be held on July 14th in Berlin.

The opening whistle of today's opening match between the tournament host Germany and Scotland will sound at 21:00 Central European Time.

Earlier, bookmakers assessed the teams' chances of winning the tournament and named the main favorite.

It's worth reminding that the current European champions are the Italian national team.
