The Florida Panthers won the third game of the final series against the Edmonton Oilers with a score of 4-3, taking a 3-0 lead in the series.

Previously, only one team in the history of the finals has managed to come back from such a deficit. In 1942, the Toronto Maple Leafs staged a comeback against Detroit to win the trophy.

Overall, if we consider not just the finals but the playoffs in general, teams have rallied from a 0-3 deficit to win the series only four times in NHL history. Besides Toronto, this feat has been accomplished by Pittsburgh (1975), Philadelphia (2010), and Los Angeles (2014).

Notably, in game 3, Barkov and Reinhart each recorded a goal and an assist for the visitors. The next game of the final series will be played on June 16. With a victory, the Panthers could clinch the series and win the Stanley Cup.
