Following the morning interview with Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti, in which he stated that the team would not participate in the 2025 Club World Cup, the club released an official statement contradicting the Italian's words.

"Real Madrid announces that its participation in the new Club World Cup, which will be organized by FIFA in the upcoming 2024/25 season, has never been in doubt. Therefore, our club, as planned, will participate in this official competition, which we approach with pride and maximum enthusiasm to once again make millions of our fans around the world dream of a new title," the club's statement reads.

It is worth noting that the 2025 Club World Cup will be held in a new format for the first time in history: 32 teams from around the world will be divided into 8 groups. Europe will be represented by 12 clubs, including Real Madrid.

The 2025 Club World Cup will take place from June 13 to July 15 in the USA.
