Manchester United are investing a tidy sum in the club's infrastructure

Manchester United's infrastructure has been in need of an upgrade for some time now and club boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe has rolled up his sleeves and started to fix the deficiencies. He has decided to start the modernisation from the club's base.
Work on the team's home at Carrington will begin next Monday and, according to the club website, will run throughout the 2024/2025 season. The initial focus will be on the gym, medical facilities, nutrition and recovery areas, as well as a design aimed at creating more space for collaboration and innovation among players and staff.
This phase of the renovation of the club's facilities will continue the work started last summer when the women's team base and academy buildings were opened in Carrington. Ten million pounds was spent on that, but much more will be spent on the men's main team base, namely £50 million.
