Pochettino waits for transfers following the defeat against Everton

On Sunday, December 10, Chelsea traveled to Goodison Park to face Everton in an English Premier League match. The Pensioners suffered another setback, losing 0-2.

However, the Aristocrats' coach Mauricio Pochettino believes that the London team didn't deserve the defeat. The coach also stated the necessity of transfers in the upcoming winter transfer window.

“I’m really disappointed. This was a game to play and to win. It's a problem we need to check. We need to talk and to try and improve in the next transfer market”, - takled Pochettino.

Chelsea has lost three out of their last four matches in the English league. In the previous round, the Pensioners were defeated by Manchester United (1-2).

Moreover, Chelsea has already lost a total of 18 matches in 2023. If they lose two more matches by the end of December, they will set a new club anti-record.

Despite significant spending on transfers during the summer, the London team currently occupies the 12th position in the Premier League table, collecting 19 points after 16 rounds. The Blues have secured five wins in the current campaign with four draws and seven losses. On December 16, Pochettino's team will face Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge.
