Borussia Dortmund star ruled out of the 2026 World Cup

With less than a month to go until the start of the 2026 World Cup, Germany are set to announce their final squad — and one notable name will reportedly be absent.

Details: According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi will not be included in the squad and will therefore miss the 2026 World Cup.

This season, Adeyemi has made 39 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists.

Meanwhile, Spain’s medical staff are focused on getting winger Lamine Yamal back in time for the clash against Uruguay. The fixture will be Spain’s third group-stage match of the tournament.
