Arsenal and Chelsea transfer target reacted to interest from top clubs

Recently, the media have been very active in linking Sporting's top scorer Victor Gyökeres with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea, although there have also been reports of interest from Milan.

The silence has been broken by the 25-year-old Swede himself, who has revealed how he feels about these press statements:

"I don't really care about that. I want to win the league and cup with Sporting - that's what I put all my energy into, in the team. It's clear that what I do doesn't go unnoticed, but I don't really focus on that in everyday life. But of course, it's funny that I have fans who appreciate what I do.

We'll see in the summer. It's not something I know about myself that will definitely happen. I'm enjoying Sporting and I have no worries that summer will come quickly. Of course, it's fun. That's why I get recognised and leave an impression," Gyökeres said in conversation with Swedish portal Fotbollskanalen.
