Against Manchester City, 115 allegations have been brought forth, and soon the Premier League will announce its decision regarding this matter.

As reported by The Telegraph, Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters confirmed that the hearing date regarding the breach of financial regulations has been set. However, he did not disclose the exact day.

"It is evident that we cannot comment on this matter. A date has been set, and the matter will resolve itself at some point in the near future," stated Richard Masters.

In February 2023, charges were brought against them after a four-year investigation. Since then, Everton and Nottingham Forest have had points deducted for breaching Premier League financial rules. However, the anticipated breaches by Manchester City are much broader and span many more years. The club itself denies any allegations.

Incidentally, Premier League executives are considering the possibility of introducing a "luxury tax," following the example of the NBA. It is proposed to penalize clubs that violate FFP rules with fines. The amount of the fine will depend on the magnitude of the violation.

Earlier, it was reported that another English club is facing the removal of points due to violations of FFP rules.
