On the night of April 24th to 25th, Ecuadorian club Independiente Del Valle lost to Palmeiras (2-3) in a Copa Libertadores group stage match.

Despite his young age, Paez has played 6 matches and scored 1 goal for the Ecuadorian national team.
Just a reminder, in the summer of 2025, Paez will join Chelsea. The London club bought out his contract for 20 million euros, setting a record in Ecuadorian football history.
