Zimbabwe coach Marian Marinica: There is no negotiation, we must win our game against Bafana Bafana this evening

Marian Marinica is looking for nothing but a win against South Africa this evening in Africa Cup of Nations Group B’s last game.

The Warriors coach needs a win to advance to the next stage as Bafana need either a draw or a win to qualify for the last 16.

“There is no negotiating, we must win,” he said.

“So, I think we’ve gained a point from that point of view. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if we have two points lost or one point gained — we still have one point, and we need to win the last match against South Africa to have a chance to qualify.”

Zimbabwe earned their single point against Angola last Friday and Bafana have three. Egypt have already qualified for the knockout stages as they won both their first two games against Zimbabwe and South Africa, respectively.

This evening’s match taking place at Stade de Marrakesh is going to be an interesting one.

The game starts at 6pm.
