Hugo Broos: Bafana Bafana defence should be work on and the player's attitude must change for us to continue having a good Africa Cup of Nations
Hugo Broos should be a happy man.
The Bafana Bafana coach should not be having any untoward feeling.
He should be happy because Bafana are through to the last-16 stage of the Africa Cup of Nations after beating Zimbabwe 3-2 in the final Group B match.
But the Belgian coach is not having any of that kind of celebratory mood.
“I have to agree that I'm not happy with some of the performances and how some players are acting on the pitch, and that is something we have to work on. We have to realise that with all the progression we made over the last two years, there is no guarantee of winning matches," Broos said after the match.
Broos added that his defence needed fixing ahead of the last 16 game.
"There is something like attacking football, but you have to also defend very well and we need to start looking after that to put it right," he added.
