"We have the qualities to keep us in the Euro" - England coach on reaching the quarterfinals

England's head coach Gareth Southgate shared his thoughts on his team's victory over Slovakia and reaching the quarter-finals.

As the Three Lions' manager explained, his young team handled the pressure and showed patience.

"The pressure in midfield has been an issue for us for a long time. Today, we needed time to find a tactic against it, but we kept persisting and searching for moments, and eventually, we created that one chance. We want to improve, but today, spirit helped us do that," Southgate stated.

He added that people will doubt his team, but they have qualities and skills that keep them in the Euros.

"People will doubt us, and we understand that, but we have qualities that keep us in the competition. I'm very proud of the spirit and leadership demonstrated by the players," added the England national team coach.

Despite criticism from fans and experts, Gareth Southgate, the coach of the Three Lions, has responses for them. Under his guidance, the English team has now reached the quarter-finals in the fourth consecutive major tournament.
