Brazil star to miss Copa America 2024 quarter-finals

In the quarterfinal match of Copa America 2024, Brazil's head coach Dorival Júnior will be without his team's biggest star.

Due to suspension, Real Madrid and Brazil's key winger, Vinícius Júnior, will miss the game against Uruguay. The suspension is a result of accumulating yellow cards.

Vinícius received his first yellow card of the tournament in the match against Paraguay (4-1) and his second early in today's game against Colombia (1-1).

So far, Vinícius has scored one goal in Copa America 2024, opening the scoring against Paraguay.

In the quarterfinals, Brazil will face Uruguay.
