Verstappen reacted emotionally to the collision with Lando Norris

At the Austrian Grand Prix, a controversial incident occurred between Red Bull driver Max Verstappen and McLaren driver Lando Norris.

In one of the turns, contact was made between the Red Bull and McLaren cars. Initially, Verstappen carelessly moved towards Norris, damaging Norris' wheel. Moments later, Norris, unable to control his car, clipped Verstappen's wheel with his wing, causing a similar tire issue for his rival.

As a result, both drivers sustained tire damage and had to slowly make their way to the pits. Lando Norris did not return to the race.

Max Verstappen reacted emotionally to being penalized with a ten-second penalty.

"This is ridiculous. You can just send the car right and left. What do you want me to do?" Verstappen said during his radio communication with his team.

The race was won by George Russell (Mercedes), who had not been a contender for first place from the start. Also finishing in the top three were Oscar Piastri (McLaren) and Carlos Sainz Jr. (Ferrari).
