UEFA comments on Tottenham's medal mishap after Europa League final

Tottenham were so thrilled with their Europa League triumph that the club wanted to reward everyone involved in the victory. However, UEFA was caught off guard and there simply weren't enough medals on the pitch for everyone. The main governing body of European football has already commented on the situation.
Details: UEFA admitted they hadn't anticipated such a large turnout of players and staff for the medal ceremony, as the number was far greater than expected. All missing medals were quickly handed out in the dressing room, along with apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Quote: “To our great regret, there weren't enough medals on stage during the trophy ceremony due to an unexpected discrepancy in the player count, as more team members, including injured players, took part than originally planned.
The missing medals were promptly delivered to the winning team in the dressing room, and we extend our sincerest apologies for the oversight,” UEFA told the BBC.
Reminder: After the match, UEFA had prepared only 30 medals for the winning team, despite regulations allowing for 20 more to be awarded.
