In the 2024/25 EuroLeague season, a club from Dubai will make its debut. Previously, clubs and the league struggled to reach an agreement on this matter, but as reported by Mundo Deportivo, a decision has now been reached.

The representatives of the UAE plan to invest €150 million in the EuroLeague over the next six years. Each EuroLeague club is guaranteed to receive €5 million.

Moreover, over these six years, one "Final Four" will take place in Dubai.

In addition to the EuroLeague, the Dubai-based club will also compete in the ABA League, featuring clubs from the former Yugoslavia.

It is known that staunch supporters of this idea include Barcelona, Panathinaikos, Fenerbahçe, and Bayern.
