The calendar of upcoming matches in the English Premier League for April was revealed yesterday. The scheduling of match dates and kickoff times has sparked discontent among numerous clubs and their supporters. Liverpool is set to play three matches within the span of a week, all of which are away fixtures and scheduled at inconvenient times. Similarly, Manchester City fans expressed their displeasure over the uncertainty surrounding the date of their team's match, which may cause logistical challenges.

Joining the ranks of aggrieved clubs is Arsenal. Under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, they will face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, April 20th. This match will take place just three days after the second leg against Bayern Munich in Germany. Furthermore, on Tuesday, April 23rd, the Gunners are scheduled to play against Chelsea, a fixture rescheduled due to the latter's involvement in the FA Cup.

In addition to these fixtures, Arsenal has a match scheduled against Tottenham Hotspur on April 28th. However, the Premier League authorities have announced their intention to move this game forward by a day if the Gunners progress to the UEFA Champions League semifinals.

If all goes as planned, Arsenal will have to contest ten matches over the course of four weeks.

Already scheduled for the first half of April is a crucial match against Manchester City, along with an away encounter with Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. They are slated to play five matches in total during the first two weeks of the month, with a similar number expected in the latter half.
