Following Arsenal's resounding victory over Brighton (3:0), forward Bukayo Saka asserts that today's Arsenal team is stronger than last season's.

In the 2022/23 season, Arsenal also contended for the Premier League title but faltered during a crucial spring period, ultimately losing out to Manchester City by five points, settling for second place.

"Last season was not great. But we learnt our lessons and games like this we need to put to bed. This year we feel more comfortable, the team is better. We are in a great position, we just need to continue.

I practice every day before the match. Penalties are a lot about mental, I've learnt my lessons from the spot. I've put in the work and I'm happy that recently I've been scoring them. Yes, I was struggling [before Brighton]. As long as I have two legs I will give everything. I just want to be on the pitch.

We are all buzzing. It takes us back on top so we are happy. To come here after playing three days ago as well, we are building momentum." said Saka Sky Sports.

Saka scored one of the goals against Brighton, matching his own record for goals in a Premier League season.

Arsenal has taken the top spot in the Premier League table, edging past Liverpool by just one point. However, Liverpool will play their 32nd round match against Manchester United on Sunday.
