The leader of Arsenal has equaled his own record for goals scored in the English Premier League
Arsenal is playing an away match in the Premier League against Brighton.
The Gunners opened the scoring in the first half and went into halftime as the leading team. In the 33rd minute, the referee awarded a penalty for a foul on Gabriel Jesus inside Brighton's penalty area. Bukayo Saka confidently converted the penalty kick.
This goal marked the winger's 14th goal in the current Premier League campaign. The 22-year-old Englishman has equaled his own record for goals scored in a single season. In the 2022/23 season, Saka also scored 14 goals, but it took him 38 matches to achieve that milestone. This season, the England international reached this tally in just 29 appearances.
In all competitions, Arsenal's star has scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in 39 matches.
Saka has been part of Arsenal's first team since 2018, making his debut in a Europa League match against Vorskla in November 2018.
