Sphephelo Sithole back in the reckoning for Bafana Bafana as Teboho Mokoena misses the game against South Korea
Sphephelo SIihole admitted his display for Bafana Bafana against Mexico in the World Cup opening game was below par.
The Portuguese-based midfielder was guilty of failing to control the ball after a back pass from Ronwen Williams as Mexico stole the ball for Julian Quinones to score past Williams.
"I didn't have a good game against Mexico, but the support I got from the coach and the team was good," said Sithole on SABC Sport.
The lanky midfielder is expected to fill the heavy boots and void of Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena who is suspended for tomorrow's clash against South Korea.
Sithole himself returns from suspension having been dismissed against Mexico is now filling Mokoena's boots for same reasons.
The match starts at 3am South African time.
