Rugby World Cup champion Julian White trades the field for farming life with sheep and cows

Julian White, a member of England's 2003 Rugby World Cup-winning team, has completely transformed his life after retiring from professional sports. The former rugby star is now a full-time farmer, managing a herd of 600 sheep and 90 cows on his farm in Leicestershire, The Sun reports.
White purchased the farm in 2006, just before the end of his rugby career, and now runs the operation alongside his wife and three children. He admitted that farming has not been without its challenges, as he had to overcome numerous obstacles to make the business sustainable.
Despite the difficulties, White expressed his passion for farming, stating that he enjoys the work and is content with the path he has chosen post-rugby.
“It was fantastic at Leicester but I started thinking about life after rugby. I rented a field, had a few sheep. And if you just have one thing to focus on – just rugby – it’s not healthy,” White shared.
During his rugby career, Julian played for the Leicester Tigers and was a key part of England’s historic World Cup victory in 2003.
