Relebohile Mofokeng on his hat-trick against TS Galaxy: It is something special that I always wanted to do in my career and it will give me confidence

Relebohile Mofokeng has described his hat-trick against TS Galaxy in Orlando Pirates’ 6-0 triumph as a special and an opportune moment.

Mofokeng netted three at Mbombela Stadium yesterday when Pirates ran riot against the Mpumalanga-based side in a Betway Premiership match.

"It is very special, I have been waiting for this moment," Mofokeng told SuperSport TV.

"It has been a while since I have had a moment like this. I have not been scoring as much as I would have liked.

"I think this hat-trick will improve my statistics, and that's what I am playing for. It is very important because it will boost my confidence and encourage me to keep going without giving up."

"Orlando Pirates fans, this is your win, this is your team. We will always do our best for you," added the Sharpeville-born star.

"We will make sure that you are happy the way you want. Please continue to support us as you always have. Your support motivates us, and we thank you for being with us every game."

Mofokeng will be with Bafana Bafana as they prepare for the Panama friendly games in this week’s Fifa International break.
