The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and one of the teams set to participate in the tournament is reportedly unhappy with the conditions provided for their preparations.

Details: According to The Touchline, the Japan national football team are extremely dissatisfied with the training conditions they were given.

The situation became so serious that the Japanese side came very close to leaving the country altogether. In the end, they moved their training base to the facilities of Club América’s rivals, CF Monterrey (Rayados).

By the way, the 2026 FIFA World Cup is fast approaching, but concerns are also growing regarding matches at the tournament and their potential duration. The issue is linked to safety regulations in the United States. If lightning is detected within approximately 13 kilometres of a stadium, the match must be suspended immediately.

Reminder: The Morocco national team recently encountered unexpected and highly unpleasant logistical problems on the eve of the World Cup.
