Bayern Munich considering former Barcelona player to strengthen squad

Bayern Munich have once again secured the league title and are now weighing up potential additions to reinforce their squad.

Details: According to Matteo Moretto, the Munich side are considering a move for PSV defender Sergiño Dest. The player is on the club's shortlist of transfer targets, but no agreements have been reached and no negotiations have taken place so far.

Dest came through the Ajax academy and completed a move to Spanish giants Barcelona on October 1, 2020. The transfer fee amounted to €21 million. However, he was unable to establish himself at the club, and in 2024 PSV made his move permanent.

We recently reported that Bayern have reached an agreement on personal terms with Ismael Saibari, the PSV Eindhoven midfielder. The proposed contract would run until 2031.
