Yan Diomande expresses his pride at representing Ivory Coast on the world stage

The young Ivorian international is enjoying an exceptional period in his career and appreciates just how fortunate he is.

For Diomande, every call-up to the national team is a huge honour. But taking part in a World Cup is something even more special. The Ivorian striker also spoke about his progress in recent months. Between his club performances and his integration into the Ivory Coast Elephants, 2026 will go down as a major turning point in his young career.

“It’s a dream. Representing your country is a huge deal. Taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations was already a major achievement for me, but being selected for a World Cup is on a whole other level. This year has been incredible for me. I’m grateful for everything that’s happening to me and I’ll keep giving my all on the pitch.”
