Real Madrid presidential candidate Riquelme recently stated that he would bring Erling Haaland to the club if he wins the upcoming election. However, the Norwegian forward's representatives have now responded to those remarks.
Details: According to Erling Haaland's father, Alfie Haaland, and his agent, Rafaela Pimenta, the striker has no intention of leaving his current club.
Quote: "All of this is very interesting, but it is not true. We wish both candidates the best of luck in the Real Madrid elections," the agent and Haaland's father said.
It was also recently reported that Florentino Pérez confirmed iconic Portuguese manager José Mourinho would become Real Madrid’s next head coach, but only if the current president is victorious in the upcoming club elections.
Reminder: Meanwhile, the Portuguese manager has reportedly drawn up a list of players he believes should leave the Santiago Bernabéu, as they do not fit into his plans for the future.
