Norway, Sweden, and Germany. Results of the women's relay in Östersund
On Wednesday, November 29, the next race of the first stage of the Biathlon World Cup took place in Östersund. It was the first women's biathlon relay of the season.
The race was won by the Norwegian team, consisting of four biathletes: Juni Arnekleiv, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Marte Krakstad Johansen, and Karoline Knotten.
In the second position was the Swedish team. The leader of the Swedish squad, Hanna Öberg, incurred a penalty loop, but on the final leg, she secured the silver medal in a close battle with the German athlete Franziska Preuß, surpassing her by six seconds.
